Dynamites Last Blast

Check out our sales page for a look at Dynamite’s 2005 & 2006 colt crop (AQHA #3980935 and FQHR #19477, 92.19% Foundation). Dynamite was 100% on fillies and greys until this past season when a gorgeous sorrel colt with four white sockings and a big blaze face arrived in Lusk, Wyoming!  Congratulations Carla and Harold Stroh on this good looking colt!  Dynamite is passing on his great bone and disposition to his colts.  And we feel like his disposition is worth its weight in gold. We look forward to starting his first colt crop under saddle this coming year.

When you take a look at his pedigree it speaks for itself.  His sire, Dynamite Badger is out of Lenas Dynamite who is a Doc O/Lena (LTE $57,950 NCHA) daughter as well as an own son of Peppy San Badger (LTE $172,711 NCHA).  His dam, HBD Cow Watcher is by Handle Bar Doc, the 1983 NCHA Open World Champion, NCHA Hall of Fame, LTE $182,000 NCHA and sire of 53 AQHA point-earners and 92 money earners in excess of $1 million and the only world champion son of Doc Bar. Cow Watcher is out of Special Lil Peppy, a full sister to Can You Handle It who has over $200,000 in LTE in the NCHA and an own daughter of Peppy San Badger.

The past couple of years we were able to compete at a Versatility Ranch Horse competitions. Dynamite has placed in every division so far, halter, ranch riding, working ranch horse, cutting and trail.  Sure pleased he did so well given the limited amount of time we are able to ride him! Dynamite absolutely loves working cattle, moves like a dream and rates a cow to rope so naturally.  We also ride him in our clinics, have used him to start colts and he is always a perfect gentleman.

We are so grateful to Woody and the late Kelley Bartlett of Bartlett & Indian Meadows Ranches (Pike Road, AL and LaGrange, WY) for raising such an outstanding horse and their generosity in allowing us the opportunity to own such an incredible stallion.  THANK YOU!

We are standing Dynamite to a limited number of approved mares the spring of 2007 so book early!  His fee for 2007 is $650.00.  Live cover or AI and shipped semen are available.
