Horsemanship
Bridle Bit Horsemanship Clinics are designed to help riders focus on their horse and find ways to better communicate what they want from that horse. Riders will focus on finding their seat, developing better hands, and getting with their horse. We work with the horses to improve balanced movement. They will learn how to focus on specific parts of their body and then build back to the whole in order to move correctly. These clinics will offer exercises on the ground and in the saddle. We meet both the horse and the rider where they are and help them come away with something better. Past participants often comment on the “aha” moments felt during one of these clinics.
Clinics limited to 10 riders.
Clinics may be Horsemanship 1 or Horsemanship 2 depending on horses, riders, and hosts.
Not sure if Horsemanship is the right fit for you and your horse?

Then, gathering and sorting the day of the branding and helping with the branding. We will visit about what and why we do the things we do at branding time to maintain the safety and health of our calves. We’ll also discuss things like herd health, nutrition and what it takes to run a ranch to table cow/calf herd. Come see for yourself! Limited to two people per session. Meals, a room in our home, and a place for your horse are included. Please contact Amy to register for these awesome experiences. Amy’s Email.

After calving and branding, the pairs are out on summer pasture and need to be looked after. Our pastures are in Fort Laramie, WY and Crawford, NE. Our job will be to ride thru the pairs, do a head count and health check and then move them to different parts of the pastures. We will also need to check water, mineral and fences. So, lots of ride time thru some beautiful country! In our downtime, we can visit about herd health, nutrition and what else it takes to run a ranch-to-table cow/calf herd.
